It is very easy to say “I am going to think positively” but bringing yourself to that point will take time if you always seem to find yourself thinking about negative consequences of situations or overthinking whether you did the right thing.

However these particular reasons for thinking positively will get you started on a journey of discovering happiness and optimistic thoughts for your own gains within your life.

Social interaction is a huge factor

If you begin to notice that your friends are not as enthusiastic to meet up with you anymore or you distance yourself from seeing people due to a certain vibe you get, this is a huge sign that their outlook on life or their mood has an effect on yourself and others around you and vice versa.

One of the best things you can do is surround yourself with people who have a positive mindset as it allows you to be influenced by them in a good way.

Influences from friends is a very common theme in society and that is due to either peer pressure or spending time with the same person on a regular basis for long periods of time.

Therefore if this is going to be an occurrence it should be for the greater good.

Our moods change depending on who we spend a lot of our time with and so any negativity that is starting to inflict on your emotions and your life should be cut out instantly.

Many people may consider this to be selfish but as long as it is not being done to the expense of someone else’s feelings, you should be your top priority.

Happy Thoughts = Happy Mood

If you try to take the positive out of what seems to be a negative situation, you are only making your life more content.

You are accepting the fact that things that may seem bad at the time still have benefits which impact your life. Whether that is to learn something new about yourself, other people or even a mistake that has now led you to a greater, more fulfilled and successful path in your career or social life and relationships with others.

Health Benefits to Positive Thinking

Studies show that how you perceive aging and your life as a whole affects longevity.

A 2019 study found that positive thinking can result in an 11–15% longer lifespan and a stronger likelihood of living to age 85 or older.

This effect remained after other factors such as age, gender, income, depression, and health status were controlled.

If you begin to have an optimistic outlook on your life, there will automatically be less to worry about, causing stress to be reduced and essentially lowered, creating a much healthier mind and lifestyle for yourself and those around you.

Discovering the Law of Vibration

Based on the principle of Law of Vibration, in order to receive good vibes and add positivity to our lives, we must project it.

The vibrations that we put out to the world will naturally bring in anything that is vibrating at a similar frequency to us.

Therefore if you send out optimistic thoughts on life itself, you will ultimately be given more things to feel joyful about.

Vex King, the author of the best-selling book ‘Good Vibes, Good Life’ stated that “The feelings we project are returned on a like-for-like basis through our experiences.”

So to conclude, by taking positive actions and changing your mindset, you will naturally create greater things to occur within your life.

By loving yourself, you will begin to live a life that you truly love.
